Who We Are

The DMI story began with a single desire by owner Mike Vaughn to provide quality work with integrity and backed by professional experience.

Mike began his career in construction as a project manager for a large facility maintenance company for several years before moving into a Director of Operations role at a large commercial flooring company.

In that role he dedicated himself to learning everything he could about the industry and choosing the best flooring options for properties based on the client’s aesthetic, budget, and planned use for the space.

 From there, Mike saw an opportunity to bring that level of in-depth knowledge and customer service to consumers who want a skilled contractor to work with them. DMI Flooring and Maintenance was founded in 2019 and our team has been proud to provide the best products and services possible to our customers.
